Fall is finally here. And that means shorter days, cooler weather, and beautiful fall colors. But most important of all, the changing of seasons ushers in the best time of year to step up your porch game. As summer fades and winter approaches, fall is the perfect time to get outside and do something creative with your porch. And with trick-or-treaters preparing to stop by for a visit, fall gives you an excuse to greet guests with a warm welcome or something a little unexpected. Here are a few fall porch décor ideas to help you celebrate the season.
Bold colors
Fall is all about bold colors. So why not bring some of that color a little closer to home? With seasonal flowers, fall leaves, and fruits, your porch or patio can illuminate the brightness of the season. Fall mums, cranberries, and apples create a unique, bold look with contrasting colors that give your porch added appeal.
Apple Crates
Red apples are a sign of the season, but their crate counterparts are underused when it comes to fall porch décor. To create a rustic fall vibe just outside your home, decorate with textured wood apple crates. Then add pumpkins, fall leaves, and flowers to add color and style to your entryway.
Table Toppers
Fall outdoor table toppers that combine succulents, mosses, pumpkins and gourds add interest and life to your front porch. Mix and match the greens of the succulents with white and orange fall pumpkins and gourds. Then place them on a bench or an outdoor end table next to a warm outdoor pillow and throw.
Fall Signage
Use reclaimed wood to make an oversized sign for your front porch. The distressed look of old wood painted in fall colors with big bold lettering creates an interesting and inviting look for your front porch. Spell out a fall or Halloween greeting and pair it with a few pumpkins or fall flowers to complete the look.
